As chair of parliamentary Network on population and development attended various conferences in the East African region emphasizing the need for Governments and parliaments to increase funding to reproductive health and right for the African woman supported by UNFPA. Participated in various Trade conferences on WTO as a Minister of government and including the hosting of AGOA Forum in Kenya. Participated in conferences in Kenya Uganda and Tanzania to fast track the signing of the East African Common market protocol as a representative of the Kenya Government, attended a three weeks Training of Trainers (TOT) in Australia in1997, headed the Income Tax Training School between 1998-1999. He was awarded Moran of the Golden Heart (MGH) awarded when serving as Assistant Minister-Trade Kenya by His Excellency the President of Kenya in December 2008 and above all he is a Certified Public Account, Kenya.
