Founder and chairman Accountability Institute, has extensive experience in the management of private and public sector projects. A former member of parliament having served for ten years, chaired public Accounts Committee at the Kenya National Assembly in 2003/2004. Was Assistant Minister for Trade 2007/2009. Has facilitated numerous retreats and events to enhance the effectiveness of leaders.

He became a member of Institute Of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya-(ICPAK) – 1999, qualified as a Certified Public Accountant-Kenya CPA(K) – 1999, Attended UNFPA programme in 2004 (Cairo plus 10) in France as a follow up of the progress made on the implementation of the declaration on MDGs ten years after Cairo, attended a five (5) day World Bank meeting on Governance issues, also being made to as parliamentarians what their role is in fighting corruption in Rome Italy. Represented the Kenya government in four (4) days gender and advocacy conference in Addis Ababa Ethiopia on Gender mainstreaming in achieving the MDG (Goal 5)-maternal and child mortality reduction and the role of parliament. As chair of parliamentary Network on population and development attended various conferences in the East African region emphasizing the need for Governments and parliaments to increase funding to reproductive health and right for the African woman supported by UNFPA.

Participated in various Trade conferences on WTO as a Minister of government and including the hosting of AGOA Forum in Kenya. Participated in conferences in Kenya Uganda and Tanzania to fast track the signing of the East African Common market protocol as a representative of the Kenya Government, attended a three weeks Training of Trainers (TOT) in Australia in1997, headed the Income Tax Training School between 1998-1999. He was awarded Moran of the Golden Heart (MGH) awarded when serving as Assistant Minister-Trade Kenya by His Excellency the President of Kenya in December 2008 and above all he is a Certified Public Account, Kenya. CPA (K) In the year 2020 he was awarded the highest honour in the Accountancy and Finance profession “Fellow of Cetified Public Accountant of Kenya (FCPA-K) Chaired Kenyatta International Convention Center 2014-2017 where major international conferences were held successfully. Among the WTO,TICAD, UNCTAD, Obama visit and Poes visit all in one year 2016.
