Accountability Institute has long time experience working in the Agriculture and livestock production and food security. The organization has experience working in various countries including Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda and South Sudan working with small scale farmer in with an effort to improve household food security and for income generation. AI has experience in crop production, livestock production, dairy production and value addition, horticulture, aqua culture, forestry and many other sector.

Climate change is a major factor when it comes to agricultural production and food security especially for the small scale farmers who are the back born of food security and sustainability in any country or region. In recent times climatic change has been a concern and Accountability Institute has been working on climate change mitigation and environmental and natural resource management working closely with all the stake holders in the region.
